01 — How it attaches
One optional field. Nothing else changes.
You pass appia_quote_ref when you open the charge.
The charge behaves exactly as it always does — same account number, same webhook, same
settlement. The delivery simply rides along with it.
02 — What “pilot” means here
Off by default. On per merchant.
The global switch ships off, and merchants default to test mode. We turn it on for one account at a time, with a conversation first. This is not generally available and we are not going to describe it as though it were.
If that fits how you sell — physical goods, a delivery partner you would rather not integrate separately — the waitlist is a real conversation, not a form that disappears.
